When some unexpected family circumstances left us needing to quickly prepare my parents’ home on the Big Island for sale, my wife and I didn’t know where to start. The house was full of decades of belongings—some valuable, many not, and tucked throughout were meaningful family mementos. The volume was overwhelming, and we had very little time. That’s when we found Anna Bruce of Ohana Organizer, and she was a lifesaver. From the very beginning, Anna was warm, professional, and completely non-judgmental. What could have been stressful and even embarrassing instead felt manageable, because Anna rolled up her sleeves and worked right alongside us. She has a gift for making a hard process feel easier, and she quickly became a trusted partner to us. One of Anna’s biggest strengths is her network of local contacts. She not only helped us donate what we could, but also connected us with a professional who carefully packed and shipped selected family china to our home in Connecticut. And when it came to the many items we didn’t want to keep, Anna used her relationships to get nearly 200 items accepted into a regular estate auction—something we never could have managed ourselves. Thanks to her, we even walked away with several thousand dollars from the sale. Anna combines kindness, sensitivity, and efficiency with incredible resources and know-how. We’re so grateful we found her, and we recommend her and Ohana Organizer wholeheartedly.
